prices are on the rise at the sprouts stores. the owners and managers of sprouts are charging ten dollars a pound for basic meats and up to thirteen dollars a pound for simple cheeses. it is simply a disgrace that prices at sprouts are soaring so much. these foods are natural and the organic foods are even higher. jimbos is a company with a few locations in san diego county. the number of items at jimbos are fewer than sprouts and jimbos are generally less crowded. if you try to buy basic groceries like nuts and fruits at jimbos, you will be shocked because of the high prices. this is not an economic supply and demand situation. this is a gauging of consumers. no one is forcing anyone to shop at sprouts or jimbos, nor at whole foods. i am just upset that the prices on basic goods have risen to levels that people will have to work extra jobs and extra hours to afford common commodities. boneys was a great store that transformed to henrys. the store got bought and sold to become sprouts.
